Jule Gorden

Jule P. Gorden, age 97, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Monday afternoon, August 21, 2017. Jule was born March 15, 1920 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Earl and Ethel (Crain) Pasch and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area. Prior to her retirement she was employed with Miller Davis for 23 years as a secretary. Jule enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Don O'Brien and William Gorden; and a brother, Earl Pasch Jr. Jule is survived by her daughters, Ann (O'Brien) and Fred Lown, Kay (O'Brien) and Charles Holmes; step daughter, Ann (Gorden) and Robert Campbell; 9 grandchildren' 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Oakview Terrace and Park Village Pines for their compassionate outstanding care of our mother; also for the caring, loving support of Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan who did a phenomenal job. What a wonderful blessing you all were in our mother's life and ours as well. There will be no visitation or services. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
