Judy Palmer, age 69, of Cooper Township, passed away on October 16, 2018. Judy was born on March 29, 1949 to Charles & Roberta (Patterson) Fox. Visit with her family and friends at a memorial gathering on Friday, October 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home Marshall & Gren Chapel; 120 S. Woodhams St. Plainwell, MI 49080. Judy’s family includes her husband of 44 years, Rich, her children: Richard Palmer, Brenda Sonnenberg, Melody (Butch) Arnold, Michelle Palmer and Betty Jo Hatfield; her siblings: Valory Havens, Victory Seekman, Marvin Fox, Gloria (Mike) Retherford; nine grandchildren: Sara, Chrissy (Dan), Andrew (Desirae), Josh (Sasha), Shawn (Ashley), Amanda, Dalton and Kori. Ten great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson Stevie; her siblings: David, Richard, Albert, Betty, Larry, Roger and her son-in-law Louis. Judy loved to shop and drink coffee with her ladies. Judy was a big Detroit Tigers fan. She cherished family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a Halloween party every year making hot dogs and invited all the kids in the neighborhood.
