Judy Lyn (Davidson) Betteley age 80 in Grand Rapids, MI passed away on April 19, 2020. Judy was born on May 5, 1939 to Alton and Glenna (Blue) Crofoot of Grand Rapids MI. Her mother later remarried Earl Carlisle Davidson. Earl adopted Judy and they resided in Kalamazoo, MI. Judy graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School, attended Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. In 1958 she married Charles Rollins Betteley of Gross Point MI and during their marriage had two children, James and Steven. After her divorce in 1970, Judy moved to Mattawan MI. Judy worked for Kalamazoo County State Bank for over 10 years. It was in Mattawan where she raised her boys and saw them graduate from High School, with both joining the Navy. In 1980, Judy remarried to Albert John "Jack" Van Dyke of Grand Rapids, MI and remained married until his death. Judy re-entered the Banking Industry until her retirement, residing in Kalamazoo. In December of 2018 she moved into assisted living at Bishop Hills Elder Care in Rockford, MI until her fight with Cancer came to an end. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Van Dyke; parents Earl C. Davidson and Glenna (Blue) Davidson; her Uncle and Aunt Ernest and Mary Casler. She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws; James A. (Margaret) Betteley of Port Ludlow, WA, Steven E. Betteley (Laura Huckle) of Grand Rapids, MI, Step Daughter Beth (Charles) Van Dyke of Glendale AZ, grandchildren Kevin (Jennifer) Betteley, Thomas (Rachel) Betteley, Joseph Betteley, Carson Betteley, Avery Betteley, Matt Van Dyke, Nicholas (Brianne) Van Dyke, and Courtney (Chris) Hernandez as well as her great grandchildren Elijah, Naomi, Samuel, Quinn Betteley, Greyson, Memphis and Braven Hernandez and Johnathan, Christopher and Adrian Van Dyke.
