Joyce loved people, most everyone she met. She loved God and Jesus was a member of Community Baptist Church and played the piano at church until she was no longer able to. She was in one of the longest running Yahtzee club in S.W. Michigan, if you stopped by you soon found yourself playing with everyone. The kids in the neighborhood all knew that if they were hungry all they had to do was grab a plate. Many evenings were spent with tons of kids in her yard playing, kick the can, hide and seek and the like. She was a brownie leader in Vicksburg and worked at the bakery downtown. She spent many happy days up by Luther Michigan where her folks had a cabin near Pine River. That was when she was the happiest, being there with her family. The world lost a lot when she passed and she will be sorely missed.
