Passed away on Thursday evening, Jan. 18, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Mary Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born on September 28, 1947 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harvey and Anna (Gilbert) Tuttle. On September 13, 1963, she was united in marriage to Snead 'John' Lacy, who preceded her in death in 2012. Also preceding her in death was her sister: Donna Tuttle (at birth). Surviving are five children: Julie (Rick) Russell of Allendale, MI, Michael (Lori) Lacy of Holland, MI, Stephen (Jennifer) Lacy of Kalamazoo, Wayne (Patricia) Lacy of DeWitt and Eliza (Josh) Coleman of Kalamazoo; 8 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. A service to celebrate Joyce's life will be at 1:30 PM Friday, Jan. 26, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where family will greet friends on Thursday, Jan. 25, from 5-8 PM. Private interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in John's name to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence or to West Michigan Cancer Center.
