Joyce "JOY" F. Lamberton (Nee Jenik), 77, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She spent her final days surrounded by her loving family, who were returning the love she so graciously gave them. Joy was born in Racine WI, July 18, 1939, to the late Joseph "Frank" and Anna (Kraft) Jenik.

Joy was a lifelong resident of Racine WI, 1957 graduate from Park High School and longtime employee of Western Publishing/Golden Books. Joy was a member of Emaus Lutheran Church who faithfully kept her in their healing prayers. During her life she enjoyed raising her six children, camping, swimming, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Joy will be dearly missed by: her children, Chris (Caren) Lamberton, Connie Balthazar, Amy (Rick) Haman, Susan (Steve) Leger, Heidi (Fred) Van Nice, Michael (Katie) Lamberton, grandchildren, Ashley (Jeremy) Laufenberg, Nathan (Erin Cox-finance') & Ryan Lamberton, Cora & Erin Balthazar, Justin (Jeni) Haman, Jenn Haman, Zachary & Joey Leger, Sarah & Rachel Van Nice, Wyatt & Wynter Lamberton, great grandchildren, Jacob Balthazar and (soon to be) Madison Laufenberg, step grand and great grand children, nieces and nephew, and many friends. Joy is preceded in death by her parents, brother Allan Jenik and sister-in-law Betty Jenik.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. when funeral services will be held with Reverend Steve Wohfeil officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family or Emaus Lutheran Church.
