Josephine Anclam, age 92, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Ridgewood Care Center. She was born in Forest Park, Illinois, May 12, 1925, daughter of the late Augustino and Grace (Nee: Lamarca) Stretti.

It was while working at Young Radiator Inc. that she met the love of her life, Kenneth G. Anclam and on September 17, 1949 they were united in marriage. Ken preceded her in death March 24, 2010. Josephine was a longtime member of Evangelical United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, volunteering with the Special Olympics, camping and traveling. Most of all she treasured the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her children, Jeffery (Patricia) Anclam of Cambridge, MN, Keith (Mary) Anclam of Racine; grandchildren, Justin (Cassandra) Anclam, Jacqueline (the late Jeremy) DeMint & Anthony Wurster, Thomas Anclam; great grandchildren, Max and Ronan Anclam; sisters, Vance Ervin, Jeanie Andersen: brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Duane Gomer, Nancy Stretti; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bess (Ted) Bradley, Virginia Gomer and Augie Stretti.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, April 28, 2018, 10:30 A.M. with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet Saturday at the funeral home 9:30 A.M. until time of service. Memorials to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Ridgewood especially Gretchen and Joan for their loving and compassionate care.
