Joseph Caporossi

Age 35, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Joseph was born in Kalamazoo on December 25, 1982, the son of Patrick A. and Cathy R. (Rhoades) Caporossi. He was a 2001 graduate of Schoolcraft High School and went on to attend classes at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Joe was employed at Tile Mart for seven years and most recently spent ten years at PNC Bank. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Michael (Annie) Waterman, Lisa (Billy) Lynch and Tony (Katherine) Caporossi; nieces and nephews, Riley and Spencer Waterman, Arrianna Ring, Vinny Caporossi, Mose Lynch and Kami Caporossi; grandmothers, Lenore Stair and Donna Rhoades; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins and his K-9 companion, Petunia. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Rhoades and Dino Caporossi and step-grandfather, Edward Koperdak. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel (use door D) at Calvary Bible Church, 855 S. Drake Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49009 on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation taking place at the church one hour prior to the service.
