John Grooten

John W Grooten (Big John) was born in Kalamazoo, MI. John loved fishing, hunting and fixing small engines. His love of small engines began at a young age. He started a small business out of his parents garage called, "Lawn Boy" and later built that business into what is now known as, Mr. Small Engine. John was proceeded in death by his mother Martha and father John Grooten, his brothers John Grooten, Lambert Grooten, Robert Grooten and his son John Grooten. He is survived by his sister Jean (Rick) Davison, brother Dave (Althea) Grooten, his children Connie Grooten, Gina (Roger) Wesaw, Thomas Grooten, Lydia (Mary) Chapa. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with 5 stepchildren. The family will hold a private viewing and interment. John will be laid to rest with his loving parents.
