Entered God’s Kingdom August 3, 2011. John was born June 22, 1948. Loving husband of Pam (nee Reimer). Devoted father of Brian (Dianna), Kelly (Vince) Curatola, Bobbi (Bob) Sandretto, and Shari (J.J.) Wieckowski. Papa and grandpa to Jake, McKenzie, Casey, Dominic, Anna, Jason, Hayley, Janelle, Jalyn, and Jamie. Son of Elaine and the late Thomas Brophey. Brother of Dennis (Kathy). Best lifelong friend of Dan and Ernie. Further survived by many friends and relatives. John was a retiree of UAW local 75 AMC/Chrysler Parts plant. He enjoyed a good game of golf with many friends. He was past board member of American Credit Union, Past President of CCTCA. Thanks to Dr. Howard, Dr. E, the ladies at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic South Shore, Dr. Schelman, and the staff at Phase I.
Memorial Service Saturday Aug. 6 at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 4419 S. Howell Ave. Family will greet friends from 9:00 AM until time of Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or the Vince Lombardi Cancer Care Clinic South Shore.
