Joan Edith (Laupp, Kappis, Stevenson) Strevey Age 90 Passed unexpectly in Tulsa, OK. Joan was born and raised in Marshall, MI. She enjoyed being a waitress, working at Dickerson's Greenhouse and planting flowers for everyone to enjoy. Preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Anna Laupp, daughter, Jan Ault, great grandson, Andrew Pape, and brother, Robert Laupp. Also preceded in death by husbands Dick Strevey, Lou Stevenson, and former husband Rodney Kappis. Joan is survived by daughters, Deborah Niedzwiecki, Sue (Ron) Boodt, Pam (Helm) Schwili, son Rodney (Lora) Kappis, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great - great grandchildren. Joan is survived by brothers Pete (Susie) Laupp and Jack (Margaret) Laupp. A memorial service will take place in the chapel at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI., on Saturday June 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
