Joan L. Krueger

Joan (Jo-Ann) Lorraine Krueger, Paw Paw, MI, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2019. Jo-Ann was born in Lawrence Township on November 26, 1934 to Harold and Juanita Kingsnorth. Jo-Ann graduated Lawrence High School in 1953 and married Arnold O. Krueger in 1954. Shortly thereafter they made their life-long residence in Paw Paw. Sadly, Arnold passed away in 2018. Jo-Ann retired from Paw Paw Schools as a bus driver. Jo-Ann held many leadership positions both at work as a union representative and in her community with non-for-profit organizations i.e., the Girl Scouts and many summers at Camp Shawadasee. She was President of the Eagles and a member of many other organizations. Jo-Ann leaves behind four daughters who will miss her dearly, Desiree (Paul) Companion, Venice, FL; Diane (Lee) Thornburg, Allegan, MI; Debra (Mike) Smith, St. Helen, MI; and Dawn Mendoza, Lawton, MI. Nine grandchildren, Jessi, Angie, Britney, Tasha, Justin, Katie, James, Andrea, Austin, and five great grandchildren Alexis, Kolby, Cole, Gage, and Luna and many loved nephews, nieces and friends. A "Celebration of Life" will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Paw Paw Eagles, 63237 M-40, Lawton Michigan.
