Joan Ellen Kopacz (Jackson), July 26, 1941September 13, 2017 (age 76) of Fennville, MI passed away peacefully, according to God's Holy and pleasing will, at her daughter's house in Brownsburg, IN with her daughters by her side. Unpublished Author of many diverse genre writings. Genius Entrepreneur of numerous significant life system inventions. Health Educator from beginning to end; most notably TeachMeStuff.com. Most importantly, Joan is most remembered as a martyr for the Catholic Church. Leaving her Catholic faith as her legacy. Joan loved, loved her family; she made them only second to her faith. Unconditionally loved by her husband, Jim (preceded in death 4/5/2004), 4 daughters, Christine (Larry) Cleary of Cadillac, MI; Cathleen Kopacz (preceded in death 1/8/1963); Caren (Jim) Wallace of Alto, MI; Connie Kopacz of Brownsburg, IN; grandson, Andrew Cleary, and granddaughter, Stephanie Wallace. Faith, Family, Finances in that order. Author of the Joy Express discovered through her stubborn energized fight with stage 4 pleural effusion lung cancer which Father Vince, St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg, IN published in the April 2, 2017 church bulletin. Mom is thought of as a Saint by her 4 daughters and will be greatly missed. She impacted our lives and our hearts in so many countless ways. She found Joy in her faith, family and her life. Nothing will ever take our Joy away. Thank you Dr. Brian White, IU West (Radiology), Avon, IN for helping mom die healthy. She did it her way, all natural. God's graces and blessings, (one last time for mom). P.S. Let's pray the Our Father together at 3:00 pm the hour of mercy for Joan. Choose Joy.
