Joines, Jr., Jesse L. 9/4/1953 - 5/19/2017 Paw Paw Passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI. Jesse was born September 4, 1953 in East St. Louis, Illinois the son of Jesse and Lora (Hamilton) Joines, Sr. and has lived in the Paw Paw area since 1963. He was an over the road driver for Green Way, and Van Eerden's. He enjoyed working on cars and rebuilding engines. He loved his children and showed it in many different ways. He enjoyed spending time with Gilbert and Cristina his neighbors and especially loved their Mexican cooking. Surviving are his 2 children, Robert Joines of Paw Paw, Lora (Pat) Knapp II of Pullman; 5 grandchildren, Robert, Cassandra, Samantha Joines, Patrick, Jesse Knapp; mother, Lora Stanislawski; 2 brothers, Leslie Joines of Paw Paw, Robert Gregory Joines of Allegan; and other family and friends. The family will meet friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where the funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday. Interment will follow in Breedsville Cemetery, Columbia Township. The family suggest memorials be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society .
