Jerome Beck

Jerome passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Three Rivers, MI at the age of 89. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 10, 1929, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Reding) Beck. Jerome served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Bergin Brunsweg Pharmaceuticals for 34 years before retiring. Jerome liked to travel and spent many winters in Florida and Arizona. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church. Jerome was preceded in death by his first wife, Leah in 1984; his second wife, Loma in 2016; and a step-son, Robin Largent. He is survived by his children, Joseph (Margaret) Beck, Lois (William D.) Henderson, Thomas (Christina) Beck and Deborah Beck; step-children, Sharon (Ken) Klopfenstein and Stephen Largent; grandchildren, Rebekah Schahn, Nathan Schahn, Ashley (Edgar) Mayon, Brandi Byrd, Craig (Deedra) Triezenberg, Keith (Judy) Triezenberg, Jesse Largent, Sierra (Ryan) Miller and Robin Largent; great-grandchildren, Tori (Danny) Sanford, Maci Triezenberg, Kara Triezenberg, Kenzy Triezenberg, Spencer Largent and Abigail Miller; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 18th at Berean Baptist Church, 7813 S. 12th St., officiated by Pastor Bill Abernathy. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 12 noon until time of the service. Interment will follow the service in Hope Cemetery, Texas Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Berean Baptist Church or the charity of one's choice.
