Jeannette A. Pero, age 96, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Lakeland Nursing Home, Elkhorn, WI. Jeannette was born in Racine, June 20, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Nee: Krueger) Dunn.

She attended Washington Park High School. On August 10, 1940 she was united in marriage to Joseph A. Pero who preceded her in death, October of 1990. She was employed for many years at Western Publishing Company, retiring from Dremel Manufacturing. Jeannette was a longtime member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, and camping. More than anything she cherished time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Dennis J. Pero of Sunland, CA, Diane L. (Larry) Camp of Crossville, TN; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Fink, Julie (Dwight) Smith, Michael Camp, Michele (Dan) Young, Amy Mann; her great-grandchildren, Lindsay Copas, Kyle Smith, Chelsea (Brett) Reiff, Lindsy (William) Larson, Nick Camp, Rebecah Camp, Brooklyn Camp, Jackson Young, and Cassidy Young; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, William (Mary), Clarence (Anita), Howard and Donald Dunn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.
