Jean Mayrand, age 76, of Plainwell, went to be with the Lord and join her husband on February 14, 2019. Jean was born on November 10, 1942 to Charlie & Frances (Ferguson) Massey. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Otsego United Methodist Church; 223 E. Allegan St. Otsego MI 49078. Jean’s family includes her children: Kim Counterman, Julie Dudley and Scott (Suzanne) Mayrand; her grandchildren: William (Mara) Wieleba, Jessica (Anthony) Chiarelli and Sarah Counterman; four great grandchildren; siblings: Charlie (Mary Ann) Massey, Renee (Tom) Moss, Terri (Joe) Shaler and Jeff (Vickie) Massey as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 44 years, Jerry “Sarge” Mayrand. Memorial donations can be made to Wings Home of Allegan.
