Janet Kay Jager

Janet Kay (Studer) Jager, loving wife of David Jager sadly passed June 1, 2019 with loved ones beside her at St. Mary's Hospital. Janet "Jan" was born August 31st, 1943 to Barney and Hazel Studer in Rensselaer, Indiana. After graduating from Rensselaer High School in 1961, Jan moved to Michigan. Many years were spent in the Kalamazoo area before relocating to Grand Rapids with her husband Dave. Jan lived a life of unconditional love toward all. She loved the simple things in life...flowers, birds and squirrels in her beautiful back yard, and conversation with loved ones. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Karen Keller. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, David Jager; Children: Chris Keller, Coleen (Harold) Brugh, Heather Gibson, Jeffrey (Amy) Jager, Brenda Jager, Mark Jager; Grandchildren: Travis Keller, Rachel & A.J. Buren, Gavin Gibson & Stacie Fuller, Zachary & Garrett Gibson, Breton Horn, Stepanie Merriam, Ryan Olivares and 5 Great Grandchildren. Special thanks to Jamie Nohel for her love and care given to Jan.
