Jim Faul, age 60, of Paw Paw, MI passed away peacefully Saturday, October 21, 2017. Born February 3, 1957, at Lakeview Hospital, the son of Richard and Betty (Marbry) Faul, he was a life-time resident of Paw Paw and will be remembered for his generosity of spirit and unconditional acceptance of family, friends and co-workers. Recently preceding him in death were his parents and brother Steven Faul; these losses in such quick succession saddened him deeply. Surviving are his sister Susan (Fred) Coker and brother John (Carie) Faul. Also surviving are nieces Ayrica (Omar) Bakri and Mo Faul, nephews John (Danielle) Coker and Mac Faul and two great nephews (Isaac and Kian Bakri) and one great niece (Noelle Coker). Jim was afflicted with his family's love for Chicago sports teams, often engaging in lively conversation with his office friends at Sportsman's Tavern. He was also known to participate in regular Sunday afternoon competitive pool games (although no one kept score). Jim was known for his generous nature and his treatment of all with unconditional acceptance, and was grateful for all of the friends he made and the support he received while working at Mophie. He was especially a well-loved and cherished Uncle. Thinking all nieces and nephews should have a bachelor uncle, he gladly filled that role. Knowing the secrets of his brothers and sisters allowed him a leeway of behavior that amused the children to the chagrin of the parents. His colorful Hawaiian shirt will be missed at family gatherings, but the nieces and nephews each will always have special memories of a time or conversation with Uncle Jim. A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. Friends will be received 10 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. Internment at Prospect Hill Cemetery will follow the memorial service. In lieu of memorial contributions, Jim would be most honored if you would put a smile on a child's face.
