72, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 after a long battle with Vascular Dementia. Jim was born and raised in Kalamazoo Michigan and he graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School and took classes at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He worked at Hybels Produce Company for 34 years and Parker Hannifin for several years after that until his illness affected his daily life functions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada and Byron Arnold and his brother, Jerry Arnold ("The Champ" in car racing). Jim is also survived by three sisters, Jo, Judy and Nancy as well as one son, Clayton Arnold (wife Julie), one daughter, Kimberli Medcalf (husband Forrest) and three grandchildren, Ian, Allison and Sydney. He had 30 wonderful years with his wife Janet preceding his illness. He spent the last 10 years being cared for at a specialized facility in Boise, Idaho where he passed away peacefully. He was cremated and the immediate family will honor him together with all their love and remember what a wonderful husband and fantastic father he was.
