Died on March 29, 2018. He was born on October 20, 1994 in Kalamazoo to M'hammed and Carol Bouabdellaoui. Survivors include his beloved partner Daonna George and their beautiful daughter Mia, age 2 ., father M'hammed (Fatima) Bouabdellaoui , mother Carol Bouabdellaoui, sister Leila Bouabdellaoui (Bryan Connelly), grandmother Shirley Kishpaugh, uncle Jack Kishpaugh, aunt Janet Kishpaugh, many cousins, aunts and uncles in Morocco, and his dogs Ringo and Ares. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Kishpaugh and his grandmother Fatima Moukhabir. Jamal was a kind, compassionate and considerate young man. He was also spontaneous and adventuresome, with many hobbies and passions. He had many friends who shared his love of paintballing, fingerboarding, skateboarding, and snow sports. He treasured his friendships and leaves many behind to cherish his memory. At age five, he learned to ski from his mom and his sister Leila. He spent countless hours each winter out on the slopes skiing and snowboarding. He recently began teaching his daughter Mia to do both. He was a 2013 graduate of Parchment High School and had fond memories of teachers who never gave up on helping him stay on track. He was a proud member of the Panther soccer team. He also enjoyed youth soccer and all the extra hours of practice with Leila in the back yard. He trained beyond the black-belt level of Tae Kwon Do with his father, Grand Master M'hammed. He loved his many years in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Jamal enjoyed traveling to many different states and countries. Some of his favorite trips out of town were with his mom and aunt Janet to catch his most-loved performers including The Who, The Stones, AC/DC, Alice Cooper and Aerosmith. Jamal loved spending summer days and nights at his grandparents' Fair Lake cottage. He was enjoying his new role helping to expand his friend Jordan's fingerboard making business. He was constantly improving his self-taught graphic arts skills, and hoped to receive formal education in this area one day. Jamal was buried in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery North in Kalamazoo. A memorial service to celebrate Jamal's life will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 10:30 am at First Congregational Church, located at the corner of West Michigan Avenue and South Park Street in Downtown Kalamazoo.
