Hugh Richard Teweles

Of Glendale, WI, died on March 6, 2016, after a short illness. Hugh, who would have been 84 next month, was born on April 29, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI to Richard and Charlotte Teweles. Loving husband to Anna W. Teweles (nee Woloszyn). Preceded by sister Jane Shlimovitz and brother-in-laws Jack Shlimovitz and Ray Rendon. Survived by sister Anne Rendon. Dear father to Trisha (Seth Miller) Cohen, John (Kim) Teweles, and Linda (John Wilets) Teweles. Step-father of Rozelle (Rick) Rennert, Cheryl (Joe Theilgus) Shaw, Dena (David Kovolic) Shaw, and Jeannie (Lance) Solomon. Cherished grandfather to 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 8 step-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends in Wisconsin and Green Valley, Arizona.

Hugh graduated from Denison University in 1954. He was VP and co-owner of L. Teweles Seed Co. for many years and then was a leading recruiter for Dunhill of Wisconsin Staffing Agency, where he won many awards for his work. After retirement, he loved to volunteer for SCORE SE Wisconsin (Senior Core of Retired Executives) where he was instrumental in opening many satellite offices throughout Southeast Wisconsin. Hugh loved traveling with his wife of 35 years, sunshine, sports and trivia.

Graveside services will be at Greenwood Cemetery 2615 W. Cleveland Ave., Milwaukee, Monday, March 14, 2016 at 1 PM. Gathering to follow at Chabad of the East Side, 3030 E. Kenwood Blvd. Milwaukee.
