Hugh Sutherland passed away on October 26, 2016 at his home in Gun Plains Township. He was born January 14, 1927 son of Bernard and Louella Sutherland. He leaves his son Kim (Rose) Sutherland, daughter Debra Sutherland, granddaughter Amanda (Chad) Mulder, grandsons Mark Sutherland, Dion Buchino, Nathan Buchino, Brandon Buchino, Damon Kahlmorgan and Tim Kahlmorgan as well as several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Judy Kahlmorgan, his brothers Robert, Warren, Bernard and sister Renabel Crowell. He was a farmer all his life. He loved fishing and hunting. According to his wishes there will be no visitation or services. His cremains will be buried at a later date at Hillside Cemetery. Any donations can be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
