Hilda Scheifele

Hilda M. Scheifele, born on November 10, 1920 in Detroit, MI to Rev. Lloyd and Carrie (Gallman) Scheifele left this life for her heavenly home with Jesus on April 14, 2018. Hilda graduated from Blissfield High School and Cleary Business School. Prior to her retirement she lived in Scranton, PA where she became Vice President of Pharmakon Research Lab. For the last twenty years she has lived in the Kalamazoo area and was a member of Calvary Bible Church. Surviving are her only sibling, Elaine Ludwig, four nieces, Diane Damitio, Marty (Rick) Laux, Judy (Dave) Simsick, Laurie (Tom) Pickard and many great nieces and nephews. A brief service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, April 18 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends may meet the family from 10-11:00 prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Friendship Village Employee Scholarship Fund.
