Helen Eagan

Eagan, Helen Age 62, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 29th, 2017 in Kalamazoo, MI, surrounded by her husband, sons and grandsons. She was born June 29th, 1954 in Plainwell, MI to Orval and Alice Evans. She was a 1973 graduate of Plainwell High School. Helen married Robert Eagan on September 6th, 1977 and presided in Parchment, MI while raising four sons. She is survived by her husband, Robert, and their sons, Robert Eagan (Stacey), Chris Evans, Scott Eagan, John Eagan (Colleen). She is also survived by her mother, Alice Knobloch; her sister, Mary Steele (Evans); her five brothers, Tom, Darl, Timothy, Robert and Allan; several nieces and nephews, 12 grandkids and one great-grandchild. Helen was a strong, tough as nails woman on the outside. But anyone who knew Helen knew she had a heart of gold. Her family was the most important thing to her and she loved them with all her heart and more. We will never forget her fun loving and free spirit with a smile that could light up the whole room. There will be a celebration of Helen's life on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 from 4-7 PM at 2727 Thayer Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49004.
