Harold Selner

Harold Alden Selner, age 65, of Kalamazoo, MI passed March 19, 2017 at his home in Kalamazoo at the age of 65. Born in Paw Paw on August 30, 1951, he was a life-long resident of Michigan. Harold worked for over 20 years in the same Parchment papermill, starting at Brown Co., working through the time of James River and ending with Crown Vantage. In that time, he became a pipefitter, joining the Plumber and Pipefitter Union Local 357, working for various companies before retiring. Harold had several collections, including his beloved Beatles music, farm and truck toys, and Coca Cola glassware. He also enjoyed building decks for family, friends, and coworkers as well as other DIY type projects. Harold was preceded in passing by his father, Wayne Alden Selner, and is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Sandra (Myers); his son, Christopher, both of Kalamazoo; and his step-mother, Beulah Selner of Moulton, AL. Per his wishes, there will not be a memorial or service, and cremation has taken place through Langlands Funeral Home.
