Passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Age 81. Hanna was born in Chicago, IL on June 29, 1937, the daughter of the late, Manus Blackburn and Frances Naylor Blackburn. She served her country in the United States Navy. She worked as a horse trainer for twenty years and in nursing for seventeen years. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Red Cross and was an avid golfer and horse lover. Hanna is survived by her sister, Sharon L. (Larry) Robertson; two nephews, Jeff (Rebecca) McGuire and Kelly (Donna) McGuire and two nieces, Cheryl Statler and Cathy McGuire; four great-nieces, Melissa, Emily, Abigail, and Kaitlyn McGuire and six great nephews, Austin, Aubrey James, Jason (Amanda) and Carter (Maura) McGuire & Greg (Nicole) and Doug (Christina) Heighton. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carole J. McGuire; and two nephews, John McGuire and Mike McGuire. A service with Navy Honors will take place in Ft. Custer National Cemetery on Tuesday April 2, 2019 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Red Cross.
