Gwendoline Dorothy (Wendy) Williams, age 82, passed away on November 25, 2017, in Three Rivers, Michigan. Wendy was born on May 12, 1935, in Liverpool, England, to Hilda ( Royle ) Williams and Richard Williams. She came into life as a twin weighing only three pounds, with her sister, Dillys, who died at birth. She blossomed into a lovely young woman despite the hardships of World War Two all around her. Wendy embraced life with great enthusiasm and was very popular wherever she went. She loved her family, her home of Liverpool, and her Welsh heritage. Her fondness for animals and birds and playing poker made for many interesting situations. Her love for people was obvious as she had a smile and kind word for everyone she met. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Parr, brothers, Eric and Geoff, neice , Barbara Moon and nephews David and Richard Williams. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Ann Fenwick of Chicago, Illinois and son and daughter-in-law, Robert Roy and Cindy Fenwick of Three Rivers, Michigan, granddaughters, Audrey Fenwick and Deidre Fenwick (Shaun) Uhl, grandson, Colin Fenwick, and great granddaughter, Lily Uhl. Very special nieces, Wendy (Phil) Owens,Pat Carney, Carolyn Smith, Amanda (Graeme) Hughes, and nephew Alan Blakeley. In lieu of a visitation and funeral, a memorial family gathering will be held in Liverpool in May, 2018. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or to the Humane Society.
