Gwen Hickman passed away on October 17, 2017 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions. Heaven's gardens shine more beautifully with Gwen's added hands tending to them. Gwen left us with so many treasures, from her love of baking, crafting, and enjoyment of family and friends.
To mourn her loss are her beloved family, son, Brandon Thompson; grandchildren, Brandon and Rachel; her life partner, Robert “Tate” Elliott and precious dog Aaron. Gwen also leaves behind 3 great- grandchildren, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for her. Gwen was predeceased by parents, Billy and Mildred Hickman and brother, Robert Hickman.
