Gloria Jean Hatfield went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday July 12th, 2018. Gloria was born January 2, 1945 in Kalamazoo Michigan to Clarence and Elois Peters. She is survived by her devoted husband, James Hatfield, to whom she was introduced by her brother, Paul, in 1965 and married October 27, 1967. Together with her husband, Gloria was a member of Temple Baptist Church since 1972. Gloria was a loving and caring mother of five children: David (Elizabeth) Hatfield of Kalamazoo, Daniel (Dorothy) Hatfield of Galesburg, Kristina (Scott) Owen of Comstock, Timothy Hatfield of Kalamazoo, and James Aaron Hatfield who proceeded her in death in September 2005. Gloria leaves behind eight grandchildren: David Hatfield, Timothy Hatfield, Tylor Hatfield, Gage Hatfield, Sean Crowell, Joseph Nieto, Michael Heenan, and Christina Brigman. A Celebration of Life will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 3706 Mount Olivet Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 3, 2018 from [7:00pm] to [8:00pm]. Donations in Gloria's memory may be made to Temple Baptist Church.
