Gertrude Wiersma

WIERSMA - Gertrude Wiersma, aged 82, of Moline, entered into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard. Surviving are her children, Judy (Ron) Wabeke of Jenison, Lynn (Mitch) Visser of Hudsonville, Marcia Wiersma of Wyoming, and Ray Wiersma of Harrisburg, PA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Henrietta (Elmer) Raad, Evelyn Raad, and Harry (Ann) Raad; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chris VandenBerg and Alyce Wiersma; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5, at Moline Christian Reformed Church, 4341 Chappell St., with Rev. John Ouwinga officiating. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association .
