Gertrude "Trudy" Grantham

Grantham, Gertrude Kalamazoo Grantham,Gertrude (Trudy) Kalamazoo Passed away Monday March 18, 2019 at her home. Gertrude was born October 26, 1926 in Detroit,MI The daughter of Joseph and Mary (Ellenich) Zupanic. She was employed at Sears and Roebuck Co and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gertrude was a master gardener, a member of the Kalamazoo Garden Club and the Ladies Library. Also volunteered at church, school , The Food Pantry and the Edison Neighborhood Association. She was united in marriage to Robert Grantham Sr. who preceded her in death March 20, 2006. Also preceding her in death were her son John and grandson Nicolas. Surviving are 10 Children: Kathryn Grantham of Portage, Robert Grantham Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Richard (Gayla) Grantham of Chesaning, Susan Sabel of Denver, CO, Alan Grantham of Kalamazoo, David (Merit) Grantham of Lansing, Donald Grantham Sr. of Gobles, Trish (Steve) Wandschneider of Lake Orion, Kenneth (Joanne) Grantham of Hudsonville, Jeffery (Sandy) Grantham of Petoskey; brother Kenneth (Shirley) Supanich of Au Gres; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; Several nieces & nephews; Including Joan Monty, Joanne (Ken) Allen and many close friends .Visitation will be held 3-6 pm Sunday March 24, 2019 with a Rosary recited at 5:30 pm at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 24, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Msgr. Michael Hazard, Celebrant. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
