Gertrude Schreur

Gertrude Marie (VanderLugt) Schreur, 82, went to be with her Savior on November 22, 2019. She is survived by her children Victoria Kool and Jack Kool, Mark and Lori Schreur, Jim and Sandy Schreur, Lynda and Mike Bredeweg, and Greg and Kristen Schreur, as well as eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and by her brother Gary and wife Carol VanderLugt.She was preceded in death by her husband David Schreur and her parents Marinus and Elizabeth VanderLugt of Kalamazoo. She was a woman of great joy and grace and was loved by her family as well as many beloved friends, cousins and extended family. Visitation will be held at Second Christian Reformed Church in Byron Center, Michigan (7588 Byron Center Ave SW), on Monday, November 25 from 5-8 o'clock, and a memorial service will be held at Second Byron CRC on Tuesday, November 26, at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Byron Center Christian School.
