George A. Agate Jr.

George A. Agate, Jr. passed away on May 4, 2018 at the age of 87 with his beloved son Mark by his side. George was born in Bangor, Michigan. After graduation, he served overseas in the United States Air Force. He later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and began his work in the lithography industry. George had a very full life and loved his family dearly. George's intellect was boundless and he was known to encourage fruitful discussions with anyone willing to listen. George was predeceased by his dear wife of 65 years, Martha J. Agate, in October of 2016, his father, George A. Agate, Sr., and his mother, Lillian M. Agate. George was survived by his only son Mark Agate. George had two sisters, Armita (Tony) and Marie (Jack) and one brother, Earl (Gloria) as well as many nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held for family to celebrate George's life. George will be remembered fondly and greatly missed by all who knew him.
