Gale Smith

Gale Smith, age 87, of Allegan, MI passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was born and raised in Allegan, served three years in the Navy, and worked 25 years at the Kalamazoo Gazette as a typesetter. Gale loved to read, fish, and crafted a terrific cold duck. He enjoyed coffee with lifelong friends from AHS for many years. He is survived by his wife, Vadra Hansen; sons, Greg (Robin), David (Fran), and Randolph (Robin); step-daughter, Amelia (Paul) Nehring; four grandchildren, Shane, Corinna, Ashley and Ashley); and five great-grandchildren.
