Olm, Fred 9/19/1938 - 9/24/2022 Kalamazoo Fred Olm, champion wrestler, loving son, husband, brother, indulgent son-in-law, best daddy in the world, grandpa, beloved uncle, soon to be great-grandpa--he was a star in his world and ours, and we are devastated that he passed away early Saturday morning, after just turning 84, but happy he is at peace. Born in Ticonderoga, New York, to Fritz and Ada Olm, the youngest of 4, he loved his family, his coffee business, his friends, playing cribbage, U of M sports, going to breakfast, reading and napping at work and at home, eating ice cream and pie--a life well-lived! His wife Laurie, sons Andy and Eric, grandson Dylan, older brother Lee, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends will always remember his sense of humor, spirit, and irascible nature. He loved life and was a force and presence that will be felt and remembered forever. Rest In Peace, Handsome!
