Frankie Zanetti

Frankie A. "Frank" Zanetti, age 63, Of Battle Creek, MI passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017. Frankie was born on April 21, 1954, in Battle Creek, the son of Santo L. and Maria L. (Lavorato) Zanetti. He was a graduate of St. Philip Catholic High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University. Frankie's father, Santo, started Battle Creek Tile and Mosaic Company in 1958. Frankie joined his dad at the store full time in 1976. In 1997, Frankie along with his brother, John became co-owners of the store when their father retired. His daughter, Alissa, and his son, Andrew also worked with Frankie at the store. In 1980, he married the former Colleen L. Dreisinger. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and St. Jerome's Men's Club. He was also involved in several community organizations. Surviving is a daughter, Alissa M. Zanetti of Battle Creek; a granddaughter, Raquel Smith; a brother, John L. (Anne) Zanetti of Battle Creek. Frankie was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Andrew T. Zanetti, in 2010. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Battle Creek. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Leila Arboretum or the St. Jerome Building Fund.
