Frank Slater

Francis Robert Slater passed away from natural causes Wednesday at the age of 73. Frank had a passion for cars and racing. He enjoyed music, bingo, ice hockey, and helping others. Frank's love of laughter and big heart will be missed by all. Frank was born May 2, 1945 to Ray and Helen Slater. He graduated from Comstock High School class of '65 where he lettered in basketball. He is proceeded in death by his parents and siblings Ray "Bud" Slater, Boyd Slater, Carol Slater Lint and Gayle Slater Long. He is survived by his children Steven Slater (Rhonda Feathers Slater) and Donnyel Klinger, his brother Donald Slater and granddaughter Monaka Klinger. Memorial services will be held at Unity Church of Kalamazoo on Thursday June 21, 2018 10AM for all family and friends.
