Frank Joseph Granzotto, age 93, of Three Rivers passed away peacefully Saturday, August 31, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Three Rivers, MI., on Dec. 19th, 1925 the son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Cerutti) Granzotto. Frank has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. On May 9, 1953 he married the love of his life Lidia Theresa DalPonte, who preceded him in death in 2012. Frank enlisted in the US Army Air corp. in 1943. Following his time in the service Frank was employed as a mail carrier for the Three Rivers post office, a milk man for Lockport dairy in Kalamazoo and at Indiana Michigan Power in Three Rivers. Frank was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church where he and his wife were very active. He was an avid reader and self-educated historian and a loving father who always enjoyed being around his children and grandchildren. Mr. Granzotto leaves to cherish his loving memory, eleven children, daughters, Anne Marie Granzotto, of Kalamazoo, Victoria Peavey, Teresa Meade, Lori (Cary) Miller all of Three Rivers, , Jennifer (Steve) Goffeney, of Gobles, Jeannie (Greg) Rinckey, of Holland, Emily (Dan)Parks, of Ripon, WI.; sons, Francis, Timothy and Joseph Granzotto, all of Three Rivers; Daniel (Susan) Granzotto, of Elkhart, IN.; thirty-one grandchildren, and thirtyeight great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Hohner Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 6th, 2019 with a Rosary to follow at 8:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7th, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. R. Mathias as celebrant. Interment will be held at Moorepark Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Hice-Shutes Post #170.
