Obituary
Ezra M. Abram, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born October 4, 1927 in Columbia, Mississippi to Elige and Annie (Abram) Mondy. In September 1946, she married Thomas Abram, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 2, 1965. Ezra was a nurse's aide and worked in the field of home health care. She worked with Visiting Nurse Cooperative Extension Services serving the Albion Area. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Albion where she served on the Usher Board. She was a Library Assistant and was a Foster Grandparent at Crowell School for several years and had also worked at Harrington School. Ezra enjoyed Quilting, word puzzles, reading and loved to crochet. She was loved and will be missed. Survivors include: 3 daughters, Patricia Abram of Milwaukee, Marie Kerr of Battle Creek, and Valerie and Edward Forrest of Lansing, 1 son, Thomas Abram, Jr. of Albion, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2½great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Shirley James Mondy and Robert Earl Mondy. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1010 Chauncey St., Albion, with Pastor Charles E. Magee officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion. Family Hour will be one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements by J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion.
