Eunice May Adensam, age 87, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Ridgewood Care Center. She was born in Caledonia, May 25, 1930, daughter of the late Ella (Nee: Erbe) and William Proeber.

Eunice was married on December 9, 1950 to Bernard C. Adensam. She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Proeber, Gertrude Eichler, Wilma Kaplan, Robert Proeber, and Phyllis Mohrland. Eunice was employed by the Racine Police Department for thirty-five years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Most of all Eunice was devoted to and loved spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Angeline Reitmeier of Springfield, MO; Sarah (Robert) Early of Paso Robles, CA; Martha (James) Goyette of Babbit, MN; Timothy (Michelle) Adensam of Racine; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1501 Erie Street, with Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Per her wishes, Eunice was cremated with no visitation. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church have been suggested by the family.
