Ethel Willard

Willard, Ethel Louise Ethel Willard, age 87, of Kalamazoo died September 20, 2018. Ethel was born November 9, 1930 in Kalamazoo to the late Norman and Ruth (Ennis) McMains. She was united in marriage to Lewis A. Willard who preceded her in death in November of 2000. Ethel retired from Gibson Guitar Co. Survivors include her children, Connie McCormick, Diane (Robert Johnson) Berthold, John (Robin) Willard and Charles Willard; 7 grandchildren, Michael McCormick, Lisa (James) Cook, Greg (C.J.) McCormick, Jacob Berthold, Tanya Bruischart and Melanie (Brian Van Landegent) Willard and J.D. Willard; step-grandson, David Closson; 12 great grandchildren; 7 great-greatgrandchildren; siblings, Norma Day, Sandra McGuire and Jennifer (Don) Weirtz; and several nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline (Dale) Davidson; and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Day and Dale McGuire. The family will greet friends on Monday, September 24th from 10:30am-1:30pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment will follow the gathering at 2:00pm at West Cooper Cemetery.
