Eric Burza

Burza, Eric D. 7/1/1959 - 4/11/2018 Gobles Passed into eternal life April 11, 2018, after battling illnesses over the years, with his family and his best friend, Jeff Haas, at his side. He was born July 1, 1959, in Paw Paw, Michigan. He lived in the Gobles area all of his life. To pay the bills, Eric worked at Paw Paw Plating for several years and then was a substitute teacher for Gobles Public Schools. His true passion, however, was art. His drawings can be seen decorating the halls of Gobles Schools and in the hundreds of cards and drawings he blessed his family with. In his younger years he was also an active member of the Van Buren County Folk Dancers. His other great passion was "Sci-Fi." If it was a book or movie about space, Tarzan or Big Foot, Eric loved it. Surviving are his beloved mother, Hilda Burza; father, Donald Burza; 2 brothers, Vince and Jeff Burza; nephew, Justin (Bethany) Burza; nieces, Danielle (Nick) Smith; Staci (Cornelius) Donald; Brittany (Steve) Papierz; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and his favorite pet cat, Spot. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will meet friends on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com from 12 - 1 PM, with a memorial service following at 1 PM. "Beam me up, Scotty!"
