Mrs. Betty Ebert, beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother & great grandmother, passed away in Muskegon, MI on Monday, July 21, 2003. Betty was born on December 16, 1917 to Henry & Cora Kersting & was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon, Fruitport & Ravenna areas. Betty was retired from the Duffy-Mott Co. & through the years was an avid bowler & enjoyed hunting, fishing & traveling. Betty was one of those individuals that found much joy in the simple things that life has to offer. She was a loving person and, through both good & bad times, always had a smile & a kind word for those that needed it. She will be sadly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her...

SURVIVORS

Survivors include her loving daughter, Darlene & son-in-law, Robert Nickerson; grandchildren, Bobby Karen & DeAnna & great-granddaughters, Marissa & Emily; sisters, Verna VanderWel Whitehall, MI & Corrine Woodrum Moore Haven, FL; brother, Marvin Kersting Muskegon, MI as well as many beloved nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; sister, Martha Williams; special sister-in-law, Helen Kersting; brothers, Joseph, Junure, John, Gerald & Douglas Kersting.

SERVICE

Friday, July 25, 2003, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Burt Wachter officiating. Interment at Mona View Cemetery.

VISITATION

Friday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Muskegon County Humane Society or Christian Care Nursing Facility.
