Eleanor White

Surrounded by her loving family, Eleanor White, age 95 passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha. Eleanor was born in Racine, WI daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Herda) Reichel.

Eleanor attended school at William Horlick High School. On July 26, 1941, she was united in marriage to Clarence White at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2013. Eleanor loved being a homemaker and truly gave of herself to her family her entire life. She was a devoted wife of 71 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Randy White, Richard (Sharon) White and Mary (Edward) Granger-Perry all of Racine and daughter-in-law Kathy White of Florida: her eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; sister Valeria Weiss of Racine; brother Ed (Sylvia) Reichel of California; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband Clarence, she was preceded in death by her son James White, grandson Paul White and son-in-law Kevin Granger; sisters and brothers, Helen, Mary, Irene, Viola, Steve, Frank Jr., Sonny and John.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Krista Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home, 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.
