Edwin Gregory

Gregory, Edwin 3/5/1919 - 4/17/2021 Kalamazoo Mr. Edwin "ED" Gregory passed away Saturday April 17, 2021 at his residence. Ed was born in Charlevoix, Michigan to Jess and Jesse (Hamlin) Gregory. He had been a resident of Kalamazoo for 42 years, coming from Traverse City. Ed was also a Member of Lighthouse Community Church. He served his country for four years, in the Army. Ed spent 17 years as Plumbing Inspector for the State of Michigan. Ed was preceded by his loving wife Mary, both parents, sister Arlene Garrison. Also Sister-in-laws Marcella (Marvin/Norman) and Maezella (Robert) and brother-in-law George Shaw. On June 23 1946, Ed was united with Mary Lou (Shaw). Surviving are 4 children, Anne Gregory of Kalamazoo, James and David Gregory both of Traverse City, MI, and Linda (Thomas) White of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services are not scheduled at this time. Planning on late summer. Private burial will take place in Traverse City, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lighthouse Community Church Youth group. Arrangements were made by Legacy Funeral Homes
