A Memorial Service to Celebrate Ed's Life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 14th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 South 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Age 82, passed away on February 5, 2020 at his residence in Kalamazoo, MI. Ed was born August 22, 1937 in Paw Paw, MI, the son of Lyle Bert and Hazel (Ampey) Bradley. From 1956-60, he served in the U.S. Air Force. Ed began a career with Consumers Energy in Kalamazoo and following 34 years of service he retired from the Corporate Office of Consumers in Jackson, MI. He was a member of the American Right of Way Association; the Jackson Lions Club and served as President of the Jackson Habitat for Humanity. Family was a very important part of Ed's life and he especially enjoyed the annual Ampey Family Reunion and Auction. On October 27, 1972, he was united in marriage to Joan M. (Livingston) Bradley, who survives. Also surviving are his children: Yvonne (Dobey) Linsey, Dawn Burnside, Edward (Sophia) Bradley, Jr., Frederick M. Mills III and Kimberlee N. Bradley; grandchildren: Tanisha, Brandon, Teairra, Dennis, Chris, Megan and Alisha; his sister: Connie Wilson; his former wife: Barbara Bradley; his mother-in-law: Evelyn Livingston; nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father Ivan Wilson; his siblings William Bradley and Patricia Gant. In accordance with Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place with burial in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
