Ed Shankman

Ed Shankman passed on February 23, 2019. He was a passionate man with an enormous capacity to love and fiercely protected those he loved. He was talented, principled and had an unparalleled zest for living. He was a great storyteller and had an extraordinary sense of humor. His insatiable thirst for learning led to one of his greatest joys, opening people's minds to new concepts inspired by his views on essential truths about life. He was a good man who led an honest life filled with incredible accomplishments. To all those whose lives he touched, please know that he loved you with all his being. Grief never ends but changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love. A private gathering of friends will be held.
