Duncan Eric Tyce, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 12, 2018. Duncan was born in Newbern, TN on July 27, 1963, son of Robert Livingston and Edith “Christine” Tyce.

He professed Christ at an early age at St. Paul Methodist Church in Newbern, TN. After moving to Racine, Duncan united with Greater St. Luke’s Baptist Church under the leadership of the late E.E. Woods. He served as a junior usher until he united with Gregg Chapel where his mother attended. He remained a member until his health started to fail him under the current leadership of current Pastor David Green. Duncan graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1981”. An excellent car mechanic, Duncan could fix almost anything. If he wasn’t under the hood of a car you could probably find him out fishing. Duncan will be remembered for his good cooking, his green thumb, his sense of humor and practical jokes and his great love for his family.

Duncan leaves to cherish his memories his children, Tenisha Tyce, Demarcus Tyce, Sequita Williams, Melissa Harris; 12 grandchildren, Janazjah, Samariyus, Rashea, Zanthony, Demarcus Jr., Dylan, Ethan, Nakiya, Ahdeya, Tiyre, Rihanna and Kaidence; father, Robert (Ollie Bea) Livingston; brother William (Betina) Livingston; sisters, Nika Ellis, Cathryn Hammond, Latrenda Tyce, D’Poschea Tyce, Talantia Pirtle, Cambria Livingston; his longtime best friends, John Lawson, Vella Nunn and Ronald Woods; special aunt and uncle, Rhonda Bogan and Danny Tyce; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Duncan was preceded in death by his mother Christine Tyce; grandmother, Doris Smith and special cousin, Wanda Cooper

Homegoing services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday February 24, 2018, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Joseph Pipes officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
