Douglas Miller

Miller, Douglas Steven 2/28/1948 - 1/16/2021 Allegan Steve was born February 28, 1948 in Allegan, the son of the late Max and Ethel Miller and had lived in Allegan for the majority of his life. Steve honorably served his country as a member of the US Navy. He remained active as a volunteer through the Battle Creek VA helping with the Buddy-to-Buddy program. Steve also maintained memberships with the Allegan Eagles, the Elks Lodge and was a life member of the Bloomingdale Hudson Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing in Canada at his grandfather's cabin and also loved hunting with his friends and special cousin Rodger Jones. Steve was also an avid NASCAR, football and baseball fan. He is survived by his son, William Miller; 3 granddaughters, Lexi, Bridget and Bentlee; a great grandson, Graysen; 2 brothers, Martin (Janet) Miller of Allegan, and Charles Miller of Allegan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, who passed January 22, 1999; and his parents. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
